FlashAir prototyping board "Airio RP"

The Airio RP board is the FlashAir prototyping board.

Features

DIP

With the 900mil DIP, each terminal on the FlashAir has a corresponding pin allowing you to connect easily to an external breadboard.

SPI-I2C bridge IC

The board is equipped with a CP2120, allowing connections to I2C devices. The CP2120 can be toggled using the slide switch.

Reset via switch or pin

There is a reset switch on the board, and you can reset via the external RESET pin. This means you can reset the FlashAir without disconnecting it.

LED Pin

You can power off the LED by pulling the external LED pin to GND.

Sample HTM

Connect to FlashAir and operate GPIO. Please place the following List.htm in /SD_WLAN/.

  • Add IFMODE=1 to /SD_WLAN/CONFIG.
  • Please set the Airio RP slide switch to 2-3.
  • Download sample HTM (Japanese) (3KB)

SPI → I 2C bridge IC sample script (GPIO)

Run GPIO using bridge IC of Airio RP.

  • Add IFMODE=1 to FlashAir's /SD_WLAN/CONFIG.
  • Please set Slide switch of Airio RP to 1-2.
  • Download sample script (0.5KB)

    Notes

  • The SPI → I 2C conversion IC CP2120 installed in the Airio RP has GPIO set to input at startup. Be careful not to let current flow to the GPIO port immediately after startup.
  • When the rise time of the power supply is slow (over 1 ms), the power on reset of the CP2120 may fail. Please be careful when supplying 3.3 V from the outside without using the USB connector of Airio RP.
